AMALIA Project awarded at the Green Project Awards 2017
The Green Project Awards (GPA) is a reference initiative from the National Environment Agency, GCI and Quercus ANCN, recognizing the good practices of projects that promote the sustainable development in Portugal. Since 2008, this initiative received over 1200 applications and gave 120 awards, creating a movement for sustainable development, mobilizing civil society, including young people, and businesses around the sustainability agenda.
AMALIA - Algae-to-MArket Lab IdeAs was given an honorable mention in the 10th edition of the Green Project Awards in the Ocean category.
On the 12th of January, the announcement ceremony of the winners took place at the Port Customs Congress Center, alongside the 5th GPA ' 17 conference on the theme "Citizenship and the future of sustainability", where AMALIA - Algae-to-MArket Lab IdeAs was given an honorable mention in the 10th edition of the Green Project Awards in the Ocean category.
